This crown-of-thorns is nearly 90 years old

blooms all year round...drought resistant, loves sun..A great plant for zone 11...Dubai, United Arab Emirates

West Madagascar

Some have just 4 flowers in a bunch, some have 8.

Crown of Thorns is said to be the very crown Jesus had to use in his crucification. But it�s not possible, unless they traveled to Madagascar (where this plant was first discovered not so long ago) and brought some for Him.Blooming in mid winter, Ribeir�o Preto, north of S�o Paulo.

Have had great sucess with this plant, blooms non-stop (approx. 5 years)
