We have had an elephantipe for a few years now and love it - orange pot is clay pot and it is thriving about 11 in caudex

Teeny weeny junior D. elephantipes ... leaves only about 1cm across widest point. Caudex is buried under perlite, but is about 0.5cm across widest part.

Female approximately 26+ years. Grows with no direct sun on caudex. Vines climb so direct sunlight allows photosynthesis.starch stored in caudex is used in3mo.dormant period
