The sweet olive tree provides blooms and fragrance several times a year. Shown here with its tiny blooms in early February. (San Antonio, Tx.)

A view of a grouping of 3 mature sweet olive trees employed as understory plantings beneath large oak trees on a foggy day. They were planted when they were 2 to 3 feet tall at least 15 years ago. That is a 6 foot privacy fence behind them. (San Antonio, Tx.)

sweet olive bloom several times a year, especially when the weather is getting cooler. The flower is very fragrant, it makes great tea.

Growing nicely in zone 10b. I don't understand why this shrub is not sold or used down here in S FL, I bought this one in Central FL. The frgrance of the flowers is superb.

In late October, this tree (large for a shrub) was loaded with blooms. It is at the edge of some woods in Laurel MS.
