This is the true species, salvaged from a massive Eden-razing (golf course construction) project in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Other populations in the same area had pea-green sepals with white lips. Alas, they are no more... :(

This pic gives you a better idea of the flowers. In the forest, this first (and only) thing you see is the lip - the rest of the flower is perfectly camouflaged.
