The white, creamy or greenish flowers are very small with protruding stamens. The numerous flowers are tightly packed in a 1/2 - 1 inch wide lumpy ball-like cluster. The small flowers clusters are not "showy" and the plant for garden use is usually found in collections of native plants and in naturalistic plantings.
