The new growth is more of a solid green and changes to a distinct green and white pattern.

This is the second spring I have had this Forsythia 'Kumson'. Last year it didn't have any flowers, this year there is one lonely blossom. --- Update - The third year, there were a lot of flowers on this plant.

By mid-July only a few leaves on my Forsythia 'Kumson' are showing significant variegation. I am underwhelmed by this plant.

The leaves on the background stems show what most of the plant looks like. The nice variegation is just clustered at end of a few stems.
