september 14, 2003 - got a late start this year due to a long cold spring, but once it took off it was quite striking. this is a true bright orange flowering plant.

One of my first canna's and the most productive bloomer by far. I had blooms up to Christmas on this one. Frost didn't really get it this year, so I just cut in back and it is already blooming like crazy.

These are growing inside my walk-in bird cage. The cockatiels love climbing up and down the flower spikes.
