A view of the interesting new growth of the Firecracker Plant, Coral Plant, Coralblow, Fountain Plant (Russelia equisetiformis). It changes into thin "fronds". The leaves mysteriously disappear.

A young Firecracker Plant (Russelia equisetiformis) in a large container so the neighbors' free roaming cats are unable to squash it ... shown in late afternoon sunlight (colors are not true to my photo - reds and greens are much brighter)
