Same plant as Spring picture, but in August, with more heat and sun, the plant has lighter green leaves and the flowers open and stay a paler pink, instead of opening white and then turning a darker pink the second day as in the Spring. Zone 8b, Northcentral Florida.

Equador Pink is one of the lovliest brugmansias. Flowers open light to light pink.. to an even deeper darker pink than this photo shows.

Ecuador Pink showing white colored first day flower and second day flower turned dark pink. I bought this plant labeled "pink" and was disappointed when the first flower to bloom was white, but delighted to go out the second day and find the flower turned this dark pink. Spring, Northcentral Florida, zone 8b.

This is the deepest pink brug I've ever seen. I think it's Ecuador Pink. Any comments?

Rich pink after 5 days, on a foggy morn. The blooms in the background with a more reflexed corolla are 1-2 days older.
