A fully opened swordleaf blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium chilense) bloom, unripe seed capsule and spent bloom shown in the late afternoon. The tepals are recurved backward which is not always the case.

A swordleaf blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium chilense) bloom highlighted by late afternoon sunlight ... the blooms appear to be different colors depending upon the lighting situation. Note that 3 of the tepals are a bit narrower than the other 3.
