Indian (Texas) Paintbrush are usually red but sometimes they will produce a light yellow or pure white variation mixed in with the reds.

A plant of the yellow form growing in a group of Bluebonnets. One of a few plants in an orange population.

A gold form that was found as single stems among a population of typical orange and a few yellow plants. I think it may be a cross between them. It has a pink tint to the flowers.
