Photo taken in May ~ by fall, these plants will be 6 or 8 feet tall and have flower spikes up to three feet long and covered with gorgeous, 4" wide yellow blooms.

Seeds are in the dried flower. They can be thoroughly dried and split to collect the tiny seeds. Finches love the seed so if you want to harvest some protect them by placing panty hose material over.
