This is one purple wave plant in a 14 inch pot. It has a spread now of 2 1/2 feet and hangs over 2 feet and is climbing up the back of the chair a good 10 inches. A prolific bloomer and rapid grower.

The bloom color of Purple Wave Petunia is a rose-purple not a true purple. It has a wonderful velvet sheen. The throat has a little more purple tone to it and, as seen in the photo, the pollen is a lavender purple. Each bloom lasts several days and then is replaced by another one. This plant has reseeded itself for me each year. Shown in April. (San Antonio, Tx.)
