I just had to send this photograph which I took yesterday of my Euonymus alatus 'Compactus' as it just takes my breath away at this time of the year. It has been in the garden for 5 years and has very slowly got better and better. I think this is an unbeatable small shrub for autumn colour with no vices.

This Dwarf Burning Bush has been trimmed in Bonsai fashion. It is just beginning to turn red and has a few small red berries on it. Only about 2 to 3 feet tall, even though this closeup makes it look taller.

Burning Bush works great around a Foundation intermingled with Miscanthus (Ornamental Grass)

This has been a wonderful carefree bush, maintaining this shape on its own, I have never pruned it. It is about 8 years old.
