Plants get 4 or 5 feet tall, often need staking (although I did not stake them this year). Butterflies love these asters. October, 2003.

Low maintenance late season color. Pinch back until early July. New England Aster in mid October.

Glorious in autumn. Almost carefree - just a haircut in June/July and the rewards are obvious.
