The colors change from blue/lavender to lavender. Very nice.

Planted in the ground, spring of 2002, 3-gallon size then. Has tripled in size, at least. Took LOTS of watering during first summer, sometimes twice daily.

Photo taken 7/6/08. Now much larger than 3' x 4'. It's at least 5' tall and just as wide. Lovely dark leaves in late autumn.

This collage shows Bluebird as purchased (note the tag) on the left, July 2006, and then how it looked July 2008: amazing growth. Now it's much larger. In part shade.
