One of the Redflower False Yucca, Red Yucca (Hesperaloe parviflora) I received from my Mother sent up a bloomstalk on the day my Mother died. The other one sent up a bloomstalk 6 days later on the day of her funeral. Shown here, 12 days after it came up.

I had received 2 Redflower False Yuccas (Hesperaloe parviflora) from my Mother. This one's bloomstalk emerged the day she died and the other plant's bloomstalk emerged the day of her funeral. The first one opened its first blooms on her birthday, April 1st.

Again, really more of a coral and this shows it's pretty yellow inner. The hummingbirds do love these flowers.
