picture was taken 2 weeks after 0F no other protection. you can see the fronds are mostly wind burned. compare this to last years pic:)

i am surprized its alive, let alone GREEN! our lowest temp was -14F i had piled about a foot of snow on top of it. it also spent 3 weeks below freezing!!!
