A flower stem that has gone to seed. The seeds are a rusty brown color and incased in a golden coat. To harvest cut the stems and leave on a tray to dry. After they've dried a few days scrunch them up and the seeds will fall easily from the stems. The chaff can be gently blown from the seeds on a breezy day.
