Whisk Fern, Skeleton Fork-fern, Moa (Psilotum nudum) is terrestrial or epiphytic (grows on a host, such as a tree, to obtain nutrients). This is a terrestial form growing in Maui.

Whisk Fern, Skeleton Fork-fern, Moa (Psilotum nudum) has tiny triangular leaf-like structures which grow on branching, triangular stems. The pale green leaf-like structures bear yellow sporangia. Shown growing natively in Maui.
