A photo of the bloom spike close up which does not do the bloom justice. Note the beautiful reddish-brown bark on the branches and the tiny white beads at the tips of the blooms. It is still bloomimg in November.(San Antonio, Tx.)

This is growing in Coronado National Memorial, Hereford, AZ...elevation 5500 feet.

A wonderful plant for full hot sun areas it requires little supplemental water. Rather gangly in form, but graceful, has a few thorns, blooms spring to fall.
