Purple Majesty Salvia - Flowers are slightly larger than S. guaranitica. Marginally hardy in Z7b.

S. guarantica "purple majesty" is my favorite hummingbird plant. For me it grows about 5 ft. tall and spreads prolifically. It returns reliably here in zone 8a.

Zone 9b FL Winter blooms. Plant takes pretty cold temps, all the way down to freezing for short time.
