Dracaena Fragrans in bloom for the first time. I have had this plant for eight years! I keep it outdoors in the summer and indoors in the winter.

I've had this corn plant for about 10 years. Summer 2002 I separated the 3 "stalks" and placed this one in front of an Eastern-facing window. It bloomed 12-2002 and is still dropping sticky, clear drops.

Bloomed for the first time in 33 years in the last couple of days, apparently out of season. This specimen is 6+ feet tall and is kept in an apartment in NYC; Southern exposure. It is probably over 50 years old based on its size at the time I rescued it from an empty apartment. What a nice surprise. I never knew it could/would bloom. The frangrence is intoxicating...

I rescued this Corn Plant (almost dead) from a neighbors trash this spring, planted it in my garden in mucky wet soil, and this is the new flush of growth at the top of the stem - July 19, 2005

We were shocked, after 5 years in the north window a stem of blooms appeared! Beautiful fragrance too.

This plant is over 8 feet tall and it's blooms are closed during the day and open into a snow ball at night, and it's when the fragrance is the strongest (at night).

I have had this plant for 23 years since my son was born and it has just bloomed (to my surprise). It is 7 ft tall. The flowers bloom at night time and the fragrance is overwhelming

What a surprise when what I thought was a common palm tree sent out a flower spike with flowers that open in the evening with a heavenly honeysuckle frangrance!
