Growing 6 feet up an apple tree (note the apple!) in Madison, Wisconsin. Seed from a Saint Louis market squash.

First try at C. maxima 'Marina di Chioggia' this year; can't wait for several months to try it.

C. maxima 'Marina di Chioggia' needs lots of room, fertile, moist and well draining soil and sun.
