First flowers to open on 4th September 06. Said to have a light, spicy fragrance, not detected when first noticed at night.

Taken 26th July 05. It's first year from a bare rhizome with one stem which had a flower on late in the season and rotted when half open after a cold, damp spell.

Taken 6th September, more to open yet. The scent is becoming strong, a slightly spicy fragrance which gets stronger as you drink it in.
