This variety of Hamelia patens has a shorter, more bushy compact habit, smaller leaves, and more golden flower tips.

It may be Compact, but it certainly isn't small. This bush is 5' wide and tall.

this is the true south side of my house, protected by the wall. i HEAVILY mulch these ,my gerber daisies and manavella and they return in spring.
