The Puncturevine, Caltrop, Goat's Head, Bullhead (Tribulus terrestris) 4 to 5 cm across flower is light yellow. It is borne on a 2.5 to 5 cm stalk and appears singularly in the leaf axil.

Puncturevine, Caltrop, Goat's Head, Bullhead (Tribulus terrestris) opposite leaves are 4 to 6 cm long, short-stalked and have 5 to 10 pairs of leaflets. Note the flower originating in the leaf axil.
