The blossoms pop up in mid April and last for a couple of weeks. The foilage is just starting to emerge and will get bigger as the flowers fade.

Native to Appalachian Mtns. White flowers turn pinkish before blue berries form on strong red stems. Huge green leaves, almost tropical look. Ours in moist, full shade. Beautiful plant.
