At first I hated this bloom color, but after feeding it, and seeing the bush burst into triple blooms, well, I've softened!

Rose of Sharon makes a wonderful, cheerful hedgerow. This cultivar is "Freedom."

I didn't prune it this past winter. It's August and the blooms are reaching for the sky!

The Freedom rose of Sharon grows really fast, especially during summers with plenty of rain.
