i had to move them once, to an area where they seemed to be happy. once i did that,they flourished

This plant provides some wonderful effects when sunlight passes through the feathery, wispy leaves.

Each leaf is very long and thin and even a slight breeze will cause a gentle swaying in the plant - very poetic!

20+ year old clumps cut back to less than 12" (30cm) nubs a few weeks ago! Smallish mature culms stuck in for contrast.
