looking for Matsumoto wase (early) fuyu persimmon

Florence, MS(Zone 7b)

I read that the Matsumoto wase fuyu persimmon (Masumoto's early fuyu persimmon) is recommended for my area, and I would like an early variety to extend the season of my non-astringent persimmons (I have 2 young trees; Imoto fuyu and Jiro). Unfortunately, I can't find a Matsumoto wase fuyu available. Does anyone know of any available?

If I could get scion material next spring, would the native American persimmons be an appropriate rootstock for the fuyu graft? I always have dozens of volunteer persimmons in my yard every year.

Thanks for any help, Susan aka Zonkel

A goggle search showed two nurseries had it but when I checked, the tree wasn't listed. You may want to contact them and ask if they will be carrying it in the future.
