Saturday is World Penguin Day. For real.

Sunday is Hug a Friend Day and next Wednesday is Zipper Day.

And this post has nothing to do with the fact that this is National Humor Month. (Also National Garden Month.)

My personal favorite this month - 4/7 was No Housework Day.

I'm still celebrating No Housework Day. :>) Zipper Day is next week, plenty of time to plan your celebration. Cookouts, banners, maybe a parade.

Hart, Does one zip or unzip? What is appropriate? Would it be more PC to give all zips the day off? A zip free day. Or should we take as many zippers as possible to a fine restaurant? Wearing them there might stress them out...
Perhaps recognition is to be given to famous zippers? Should we festoon our homes and gardens with zippers? Don't want to offend any zips even innocently!

And what about the Amish!? They have no zippers. They are zipper impaired.
