Okay, here's a few good ones for you.

There were coupons for $4 off the Glade Sense and Spray in last week's Sunday paper. This is a doodad that senses when you're in the room and automatically sprays room freshener into the air. These were about $8 a couple of weeks ago. Walmart today had them on sale for $5, so $1 with the coupon.

Or go here and get a coupon good for buy one get one free, which makes it $2.50 each.

Walmart also had the Kraft Mac and Cheese crackers on sale for $1 a box, I had coupons for $1 off two boxes, so got them for 50 cents each. These coupons were in the paper about three or four weeks ago.

Here's a printable coupon for $5 off $25 at your local True Value hardware store.

$2 off V8 Fusian juice. Once it prints, go back to the "print your coupon" page and you can print a second coupon.

Don't dawdle if you want these printable coupons. They are sometimes only available for a day or two.

Coffee drinkers- Eight O clock is OK by me and they've been doing promotion. Many sales, many bags with coupon on the inside, and a "club" that you can join. I enter codes on each bag I use. Hokey rewards until you get to about six ? bags. (not sure but it didn't take long for two drinkers). then I got 25$ off a 50$ purchase at a restaurant . That's not bad for my family. Easy to spend 50. But you may not have much selection of restaurants. I was able to look at a list before earning the certificate, then when I went to get the certif from restaurants.com, there were many more listed than I saw before. Or hold out longer and actually earn a 25$ Visa card.

Ruby Tuesday waitress encouraged us to sign up for email and get BOGO coupon monthly. She said coupons are really helping their business now.

ALDI store has few locations but great prices. 2% Milk 2.39/ gal compare to 3.09 at WAWA and 3.49 at grocery. "Store" brands and not nearly all the specialty stuff but we've been happy with what we've tried. Faux Cheezits for 1.29 a 10 oz box, chunk cheese 1 .29 an 8 oz brick.

At $2.00 a pound for each pound consumed or saved for later the average backyard gardener can realize $500.00 - and more in a relatively small space and at very reasonable cash cost and overhead.

Sally, did you know there are usually coupons for the purchase of the restaurant.com coupons available? For example, there's one here for 60% off on your entire purchase - you can get $25 in restaurant.com certificates for $4. Just make sure you read the fine print. There are usually restrictions on those certificates such as you can only use Monday through Thursday or you have to buy at least two meals to use the certificate.

Sally,

I went to the new ALDI store here and was blown away! Even though i spent over $50, I got some good deals. Best deal comes to mind--a 24oz package of thick-sliced. lean bacon for $3.99. They also had the same--but the pepper on the bacon....YUMMY!
Got a whole cantalope for 99cents and 1lb boxes of Strawberries for $1.49.

I was told by one of the workers that the company is German-owned. There are many different brands and you will see some German writing on some of the containers..but everything is top quality.

A few things you need to know----

--They do not bag your groceries--you need to do that yourself after the sale--so bring your own bags--or you can buy one of their plastic bags for 10 cents. Paper bags--6cents.
--They do not take charge cards. Debit cards or cash only.
--They do not accept grocery coupons--but then their brands are all different anyway....

I used to shop at Aldi in Germany many years ago - anyone needs a translation I'll be happy to translate - I'd say 99% of all European grocery stores are the same, very little fuss and no bagging, carry out or that extra service we are used to ^_^

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

so glad you pointed out the no credit and no bags--a shock if not prepared at the least.

"International" groceries near here have been good sources for good and cheaper produce. Chard, that you rarely find in other groceries, there for half the price and fresher.

Be sure before you sign up for any emails from the coupon places to read their privacy policy and make sure you're not also signing up for "third party" emails - aka a boatload of spam.

Places like couponsurfer are usually just sending you coupons from Smartsource and coupons.com, so why not just go directly to those two sources every week and check for coupons?
