Hi Rob - gorgeous photo. And what is it?

San Diego, CA(Zone 10b)

Katie, it's a C. florida Sieboldii...it's supposed to be a late bloomer but it's already covered in blooms! I think those guidelines must be for further up North...

Thanks for the ID.

It certainly is covered. And what do you have planted with it?

San Diego, CA(Zone 10b)

It's pink jasmine! (Jasminum polianthemum sp?). Smells sooooo good! : )

Gorgeous plant and beautiful setting. Welcome to the clematis forum. According to Heronswood the zone is 6-9, so guess it won't grow in my 5b zone. :-( Edited to say: Heronswood says it's an early bloomer!

Welcome to the Clematis Forum, Rob!

I'm so envious that you can have Clematis and everything else blooming year round in your zone 10b garden! Such a beautiful combo of your Clematis & pink Jasmine. Beauty and fragrance all rolled into one!

Thanks guys! I really am enjoying those...now I understand why Clematis is called "queen of the climbers"! More buds have opened since I took that picture...I'll post soon!
