Hi everybody,
Just got my tax refund, so I'm drooling all over the seed and plant catalogs:) I just got one from Gilbert H. Wild & Sons, in Missouri. They specialize in daylilies, iris, hostas, and peonys. Their prices are a 1/3 to a 1/2 of places like Wayside and Parks. I don't see any info on them in the Products and Sources database. Has anyone had any experience with them......they look like a fairly small family operation and I'd much rather buy from them than from the big catalogs, if they're reputable.
Thanks!
Trish
Any Info on Gilbert H Wild & Son?
Here is a link to their Garden Watchdog entry: http://davesgarden.com/products/gwd/c/52/
I have ordered from them in the past and I will likely order from them again. I am not into $50+ daylilies and they sell daylilies for a few dollars that I see at local nurseries for $8-$20.

Thanks Bret....after reading the reviews, I'll try a smallish order and see how it goes.

Trish, I have ordered daylilies from them before, that was quite a while ago. I was very happy with my order. I would order from them again.
Trish, There is a thread on Wild's Cultivars in the Daylily Forum. Here's the link:

There is also a link in that thread to another online source for inexpensive Daylilies. Here it is: http://www.smithdaylilies.com/index.html
Thanks everyone! Appreciate the info. I've placed an order with them (daylilies and peonies) and we'll see how it goes.
