What else do you grow?

We all love our lilies, but what keeps your garden going when the lilies are in their "off-season"?

This is such fun!

Yes, the datura is a triple. The one pictured is Purple Petticoats but I think all the purple varieties look pretty much the same. Love the little red stars poking up through the white clematis. Nice butterflypic Mags!

I've been playing with close-ups. This is Liatris ligulistylis

I found this site mentioned in another thread. You'll love it if you enjoy Fibonacci numbers ~ if you don't know what that means then you might want to start at the top of the page. About half way down the page deals with things found in nature and flowers in particular. http://www.mcs.surrey.ac.uk/Personal/R.Knott/Fibonacci/fibnat.html#petals

I find the spirals mesmerizing

I have lots of hardy hibiscus and think Kopper King is the most striking. The huge flowers are such a treat when most of the garden is winding down in late summer.

Your gardens must be beautiful!

One of my grouping in my flower beds.
Don't ask names as my computer is screwed up and wouldn't let me attach names to picture.

They are a work in progress..I might be done in 10 years.

Saint Bonifacius, MN(Zone 4a)

Maxine, you could rename your individual photo files., rather than trying to attach a name to the image.

Example:
Your camera will have automatically named each photo file something like DMC453, or P202437, or MC8032, etc.

Right click on the one you want to change the name for. A window will drop down, giving you the option to rename it. Maybe "Lilium candidum Jun2008". When you have typed what you want, hit enter, and it's done.

Already tried that Lefty. I must get someone to check out this computer as it has glitch some where.
