Need a pure WHITE standard size AV with large blooms.
Just a leaf or two is OK.
My boss loves the way they brighten-up the gray cubicle.

The official temperature outside is "freakishly cold", which means the chances of any kind of trade and/or plant purchases are at least 2 months away (unless you have a system, in which case I"m craving a trade for mini and semi-mini leaves) . . .
So, what to do in the meantime? For those that have posted Have/Wants previously, please take the time to update your lists . . . for those that have not posted previously - shame on you!
Seriously, though, even if you post a few leaves at a time . . . we all have to start somewhere, right? And with the spring shows/sales coming up soon, someone may see something you are looking for!

Here is a strange Optimara: Two for the price of one.
I bought one 4" plant but it split as it developed,
and one has regular foliage and flat petal blooms,
but the one next to it has FRILLY foliage and blooms.
I think if you take them out of the pot you will find 2 different plants. The one on right looks like Optimara Everlove or Optimara Nebraska
I'm pretty new to growing streps, but I love what I have (many thanks to Jim and Nichole).
I would love to try growing some of the Dibley streps I've seen on ebay.

I've been there - twice! and each time i spend way over $100! Both times the strep selection was minimal. I would love to trade with the folks on DG - I've gotten healthier plants and a very nice selection.

Hint...the plants available in the public greenhouses come and go, they keep a private stock. If you ask for a specific plant, and they have one, they will propagate a plant for you...if you ever get really stuck for a source.

I am getting back in to Streps. I have already ordered most of my favorites, but there are a couple varieties I can't find via eBay or other on-line sources. I will list them under my name way up near the top of this thread... But quickly they are... Helter Skelter, and Space Dust. I love fantasy Streps, so if you know of any unusual fantasies out there... the Dimitris line (DS, out of Russia) comes to mind... Please let me know!
