Some pretty bad weather forecast for tomorrow/Wednesday

Shenandoah Valley, VA

They have downgraded it a bit from this morning, when they were predicting up to a half inch of ice accumulation in some areas and have now lowered the amount but still calling for ice. This pretty much applies to all of our area - northern valley, parts of northern Virginia including Fairfax, Fauquier and Prince William. Any of you live in Rockbridge? They are predicting worse ice in that area. I don't know if this covers any areas in Maryland or Pa. so those of you who live there might want to check for weather advisories.

Near Lake Erie, NW, PA(Zone 5a)

We are getting hit by this stuff now, I left work early and missed this, so far there is a lot of fender-benders. You all be carefull out there.

Chevy Chase, MD(Zone 7a)

Here it is just coming down as rain. I hope you all are safe, those of you for whom it is falling as freezing rain.

Shenandoah Valley, VA

Advisory is still on today. So far we're getting mostly rain. We did get some ice on the tree branches yesterday for a while but the rain eventually melted it.

Do be careful if you step outside to make sure it is just wet and not icy and when driving of course. Remember the road may be fine until you get to a bridge. Bridges always ice over before solid ground.
