notmartha - what a cool and unusual hosta! I can see why it would be your favorite. You have a very pretty shade garden. I really like your hostas. Zander's cute too!
My Mocha is new this year but when I bought it, it's leaves were very dark chocolatey color and as the weather cooled, became mottled reddish. I was surprised to see yours looking much more green with the newer reddish/pinky leaf emerging. Did yours always have the green color? How about your stormyla?
Medinac, Mine are sometimes a deep rich chocolate, but right now are looking pretty green. I love them.
stormyla - Glad you posted yours. Yours is fairly dark though, with the green and I can see the mottled red showing through. Here's mine. It's turned much more reddish since buying it and since the cool nights have arrived. I see two of the outside leaves turning green also. I'm so glad I bought it.
