Has anyone grown this fruiting tree? I would like to see how you are doing with yours.
cudrania tricuspidata melon tree
Growing this one in zone 5 with some issues - got a couple of ripe fruit one year, then tree died. Bought another but it has not fruited yet. Liked the fruit and will keep trying - This one fruits early but I have no clue how it would do in your zone, except that it is generally rated as warmer than zone 5.
Are you full sun or partial shade?
What type of soil do you have? What did the fruit taste like?
Thanks
Mostly sun, soil is a quality potting mix, amended for improved drainage. Hard to describe the taste, mild, sweet, melon/fig taste with firm texture but not crunchy?
