That happened in 1996. Manufacturers have changed the miniblind composition since then, starting in January of 1997. Here's a link

Yeah, if that were still true, I'd have a big problem because I don't put out the good markers until the plant has survived a year! Everything gets a miniblind label at first and there are a lot of them in my garden.
