My daughter, living in tropical Florida (yes I'm jealous) just moved out into the countryside around Winter Haven. One of the interesting fruits she has found is (as of yet) unidentified. Here is her description:
"I am a semi-dwarf sized tree, appear citrus in nature, and have thorns. My fruits are bright yellow, and are not in clusters. They have a lot of pulp, and large seeds. When whacked with a hammer, the seed appears white and nutlike, almost like coconut. Flavor is hard to describe, as it is being blunted by a cheap merlot. Tree is obviously hardy in Central Florida."

I had these planted at my parent's yard in Cocoa. They took the-when was the big freeze, 89? Just fine.
I somehow thought the back of the leaf was a bit either fuzzy or silvery-grey.
