I think I need some height in this border -- or at least varying heights. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I should vary the height and color to get a little more consistency and drama in this border? It is such a mishmash. I want to plan for next year. This year did not really come together.
From the left I have:
Pink rose of sharon
Moonbeam coreopsis with lambs ears in front
tall yellow daisy like rudbeckia -- sorry, don't know name
red bee balm with red day lilies and hens and chicks in front
another tall yellow daisy-like plant
cosmos that has not yet flowered (@#$#%!!) -- with black-eyed susan in front
white david phlox with blue delphiniums in front and dianthus in front of that
long section of orange, arizona sun blanket flower in back of diving board
some pincushion flowers with dianthus and creeping phlox in front
more black-eyed susans with liatris in back
pink american dream coreopsis
then the pink corner bed with pink butterfly bush etc etc
Any suggestions for revisions?
