I have some black raspberry tips that have grown through the bird netting that I am going to cut off as soon as I'm done picking the berries. I was wondering if anyone had ever used rooting medium on raspberry tips. I do know they will root if bent down and anchored, but I thought I'd try using my pruned tips this way. Any comments will be appreciated.
using rooting powder on blk razz tips
Never tried. It is too easy to tip root and then move them. No watering them, no special care and next spring you have a nice viable plant. That said I'll bet you could root them with compound since they root so easily in the field
