Here is 'Henry's Surprise' a delightful one.

Here's 'Elise'. This one has multiplied well in one year.

OR an unregistered Cocker seedling. It made it through the winter and the spring, I hope it makes it through the summer (9inches of rain in the last 36 hours!)

Nice seedling! And I love 'Henry's Surprise'. I need more spotted ones. Here's Black Beauty.

Poor King Kong needs to be moved this fall. It's tucked in between some ornamental grass and Silk Road. Don't think it gets enough sun. Always needs support. It will be interesting to see what has happened to the bulb since it was planted. It was one of Buggycrazy's cabbage sized bulbs to begin with. I'm afraid it may have shrunk at my place with my lack of care.

Well I think that just shameful, Susan ~ I'll be right over to confiscate it.
Poor thing...

All beautiful...I have been looking at Elise. I like that Henry's Surprise too...though Lavender Lady is a looker too!

Do you Lincoln people have to stand guard at night to fend off each other ? LOL!
Lilies all look great.

I have a bunch blooming yet, but same old ones.

Daylilies from Iowa RU are blooming, new one every day it seems.
Most were from Iowaron.

Such nice lilies. 'King Kong' died first year after our horrible frost of 2007. It came up and froze out. No return on it this year. I never even got to see the poor dear bloom once, not even once. Boo hoo.

Your Cocker seedling is gorgeous. I normally don't like lilies in orange.
Will this come true from scales?

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

It should.

More beauties. Henry's Surprise is irresistible. May have to add that one somewhere. And I remember lusting for Elise last year when you shared photos of it, Magnolialover. I talked myself out of getting it in the fall but don't think I want to be so strong this year. It's so graceful and soft looking. Just love it.

Hey, Bernie,
It's not even out of your way to come by here and pick me up when you want to go poaching in Lincoln.

OK, but with those lilies you have to take back 4 rabbits each. That way they won't starve.

Mags ~ I lost several lilies due to the freeze last year. There were others but losing superbum and Henry's Surprise really made me sad.

I can take care of rabbits! Lead poisoning!

20 some cats helps keep the rabbits away.

Very nice. 'Beauty Rose' next to 'Scheherezade' is striking.
