Give the cloud shape a name based on what it reminds you of.
Name that CLOUD
'Cloud'.
OK Victor,play along.
Okay, Thumper blowing smoke.
Nice catch. I didn't see anything but now you mention it looks like a bunrab of sorts
Looks like a hand holding a cigar or cigarette.
Looks a bit like a sheep's head and body; I'd call this type of cloud "sheepocumulus".

Feel free to post your clouds.
I know Victor has a million of them.
Thats what gave me the idea.
Lari Ann - are sheepocumulus clouds prone to 'shearing' winds??
Why, yes, sheepocumulus clouds are the type of cloud most often affected by high levels of shear. That's why, if a tropical depression has a lot of sheepocumulus, it will never develop into a hurricane.
Tropical depression sounds like an oxymoron to me! 'Arctic depression', yes.
Everyone knows that a tropical depression is what happens when you find out you are out of rum and the liquor store is closed!
I love therse cloud games! To me, it looks like Jonathan Livingston Bunny...
HMMMMMM
Looks like a DayLily to me,but everything does these days.
Nice - looks like Napa fog. From the car?
Yep! Feels like your driving in the clouds when you drive in Aroostook County.
I LOVE maine.
AHHHHHH Beautiful
WOW! I am going to get in on this cloud fun as soon as I figure out why my camera won't upload...we should give their types if we know them...wouldn't that be useful...amaze your friends at parties...please send some more, Victorgardener! And others ....
Your clouds are great Victor.
Even if they could come in my direction they would be different when they got here.
Thats why I love clouds.
I think that I shall never spy
A cloud with moisture in the sky.
Two weeks now, no drops of rain
My well is down, my plants in pain.
Despite the weather maps' depictions
Clouds ignore their wet predictions.
Please let's have at least a drizzle
So this summer's crop don't fizzle!
GROOOOAN *_)
Great shots Victor and Nanegoat. Like the reflected clouds and color.
Don I know what you mean. We finally got a whole quarter of an inch of rain last night. Not much but better than the zero rain in the last two weeks. Hope you get some from one of the predicted showers in the next few days. Then a rainy day poem. :)
The first cloud looks like a hippogriff.
Yes I wish the clouds were more 'giving'.
