| "Aroidia Research is an independent, privately funded effort devoted to hybridization of plants in the family Araceae (aroids). Specifically, we work with Alocasia, Anthurium, and Philodendron, primarily, but have other research work in process as well. We now have two new Alocasias on the market (both are patent pending), they are 'Regal Shields' and 'Tiny Dancers'. Two of our older hybrids are still in wide distribution; they are Alocasia x calidora (aka "calodora", "persian palm", "caladora") and Alocasia x portora (aka "portidora", "portodora", "portadora")." |
