Continuing here for those on dial-up. From this thread,

On the 26th the 5 budded 'specie-type' Asiatic which is yellow and spotted, opened, some spots are almost a 'halo' but not very noticeably so like the first one. It is also a deeper yellow, not quite as interesting as the other but still nice.

That is the one on the left, the one with 'halo' spots on the right.

Another open on the 26th, a George Slate x davidii hybrid. I love this! It has a dark edge and very strong spots, three petals very broad at the throat end.

The 6 budded 'specie-type Asiatic in the pot with the 9 flowered purple tip one also opened on the 26th, slightly softer orange and on close inspection has some darker pin stripes.

The two together, you can see another orange one open hanging low, out of the pic is the pale yellow with green stripes on the backs.

The one hanging low, it has very tightly recurved petals and very dark spots.

This little beauty is one in a pot of smaller bulbs of L. davidii which I didn't expect to flower. It's quite different to the rest.

L. sargentiae was partly open at midday, later it had opened more but was very dull so will try to get anohter pic tomorrow. The petals had curled back very tightly, on a long trumpet it looked very nice! I detected a little scent.

Wonderful....it would be difficult to pick a favorite.

Gent, Belgium(Zone 8a)

Indeed! I specially like the way the petals of the two pale yellow ones curve so gracefully.
And then the joy having raised all these treasures yourself, the excitement of not knowing how they're going to come out...all of them being unique...You're so rich wallaby!

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Thanks lilyfan and bonitin! I think you put that very well bonitin, I feel very rich with such beauty and surprises!

L. sargentiae today, same one as yesterday. The colour on the outer petals of this one is a little like chocolate, it varies with others being more maroon, some lighter, some a rich rhubarb red. I love the green stripes on the alternate enclosed petals. The scent is actually quite strong now it has opened more, the whole flower is similar to L. centifolium but more dramatic in appearance. It does match deflorum's description well.

The anthers on this one are very dark, another one is opening today and they are lighter.

The other L. sargentiae opening is in the other pot with light rhubarb coloured outer petals and I think this is the one with two buds, the other two are a deeper rhubarb. The inside of the petals on this look a pale, creamy-green colour with a faint wine flush at the edges.

Your L. sargentiae is stunning!

Divernon, IL(Zone 5b)

extraordinary

Saint Bonifacius, MN(Zone 4a)

Stunning . . . extraordinary . . . exquisite. I think that about covers it!

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

All three descriptions fit, lol, and I have it!

I took a pic of the second L, sargentiae late yesterday when it was (of course!) very dull. This shows the green throat nicely, and the lovely cream-green inner petal colour. The one which has two buds is the dark rhubarb either side, it will be interesting to see what it looks like when open. The first one looked relatively boring with it's chocolate outer, then it opened! Wow!

Today when there was a little sun!

Another is opening, it's outer colour is a mid chocolate-rhubarb. I'm not sure this one looks as interesting as the other two, but I should wait until it fully opens although it's not far off. It does have a lot more colour on the inside of the petals, but strangely it doesn't yet have the Wow factor.

From the other side with different lighting it looks better!

Another 'specie-type' Asiatic is opening, it's a yellow-melon colour with an orange edge but I can't get a good shot yet.

Two buds of L. regale are opening, they are fairly small but amazingly have quite a lot of buds considering they are young.

The two trumpets (Pard's) from the yellow with pink edge are opening. They are both nearly as long as my hand, a good 6".

The melon coloured one, they were so heavy for the stems I had to stake them, they were hanging near the ground.

The white/pink one, I had fun with this!

Hidden inside is a gorgeous yellow throat, it is very nicely scented too! The melon one so far has a slight 'green' scent. Thanks pard!

So exciting to watch first time babies unfurl their hidden beauty day by day. Thanks for sharing with us.

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Yes it is lilyfan, it is a pleasure to share them!

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Oh Wallaby, those are just magnificant. :) As Lilyfan says, thank you for sharing them with us.

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Thanks Ticker, and you're welcome!

We had a heavy shower late yesterday, I took pics of the trumpets after as they had fully opened or near enough. The melon/yellow one does have a scent now, and they both seem to smell like Lily of the Valley, which I love! I didn't notice that at first on the pink/white one but maybe I smelled the other one first and had it in my s(c)en(t)sors.

Down the throat, this is such a lovely rich colour.

The other, this looks to have a lot of L. regale in it.

By last night the yellow-melon 'specie-type' Asiatic had completely curled back 3 petals.

Thumbnail by wallaby1
Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Today it was still the same! Lol, it must be fighting with two different genetic traits!

L. regale had also opened wider last night. This is another which opened, taken today.
