I have a question... I am going to my mom`s this sat. & need to know how to take cuttings from her honey suckle vine that needs trimming? Also how do i go about getting them to root? Any info would be more than welcome .

the vines usually root as they run along the ground.
thats how i transfer them here!

Does this mean i should just nick the vine & put it right in the ground where I want it(kinda like layering?)?

i've been trying to root some cuttings in moist vermiculite, no sign of any roots yet, but they're still looking alive and showing no signs of wilting. i'll let you know how i get on.
