lovely!

where is everybody buying those pixies? I want some pixies, orange, yellow, pink, I want them all

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Andrew, that is so cool! That bloom looks like a fluke but how interesting!

voss, have you looked around locally? Lots of places carry the pixies, if nothing else.

Divernon, IL(Zone 5b)

John Scheepers has 4 in their newest catalog- Buff, Crimson. Dreamcatcher, and Yellow Baby

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Wow, Andrew! Thats a beauty! Were you surprised to see a double when it opened? I don't recall seeing orange doubles offered- hope thats not just a fluke!
Congrats!

I'm eager to see what that bud to the right looks like when it opens. :)

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Is that bloom pollenless? I like it's coloring! :)

Sanford, MI(Zone 5a)

very nice !!!!

Fox River Valley Are, WI(Zone 5a)

It is kind of wacky. I didn't see any pollen. Could be just a seedling fluke. Other buds should open in a day or so.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Cool. :)

i'm getting some of them pixies. here is a pic. about how many bulbs do you think are planted in this pot?

forgive me for hijacking. don't know what I'd call it if I started my own thread.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I'd guess there are about 5 bulbs in that pot.

Whitehall, WI(Zone 4a)

That one is really neat! Hopefully it's not a fluke!!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

I like that one Andrew. I'm heading to your link.

Fox River Valley Are, WI(Zone 5a)

It's a work in progress, just started :*)

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

It's nice. Count me checking in during the season.

Saint Bonifacius, MN(Zone 4a)

Nice start on the web page. Will you also be using it as a lily breeding diary? No text in it yet.

If you remember last year (I think) when you had posted some of your very successful upright asiatic crosses(all siblings), I made the comment something like: Beginners luck? or Talent?

Looks as if we're leaning toward the latter.

Good job!

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Nice website, Andrew. Could I make one suggestion? the purple lettering is really hard for me to read against the black.. :)

Fox River Valley Are, WI(Zone 5a)

Rick that is my plan. I want to keep records, but it is always a pull between dinking around on the computer or being outside with what little time we have with warm weather! Maybe if I can get the pictures semi organized I could spend the winter doing detail work. I am not not sure about a site that is 100% Flash based either.

At any rate what do you think of the Lollipop tips with the orange? I think there is lilies out there with that combo already...

Thanks for the comments.

Ahhhh the sun is calling to me again...

I haven't seen one like that anywhere. That's definitely a keeper. Matter of a fact, I'll keep it for you. :)

Whitehall, WI(Zone 4a)

Wow, I really like that double orange! Orange with yellow and a bit of red/pink mixed in. Love it!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I really like both of them Andrew ~ your double looks like a little sunset. :)

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

The second one reminds me of a bright star, the shape is star-like and the coloring reminds me of a picture a child would color in, precious.

Andrew,
Did you receive the seed from buggy crazy. I have quit a few hybrids that look the same from her seed.

Are you sure the postman didn't help you with that pollen? ;)

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Wow, Andrew, you're getting some really nice color combinations!! Way to go, dude! :)

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Very nice results. I like the orange double a lot.

nice seedlings intercessor. I think your seedling from your post on 6-21 at 9:29 looks similar to Pink Piixie and or Sydney. Yours has much richer color than either of them however.

Bright!

Something about this one I like. Perhaps the pink dots and the gentle coloring.

An update from a few above. This one has been blooming for about 2 weeks. The flowers are smaller, about the size of my palm.
